Diversity

As an organisation anchored in some of the most ethnically diverse neighbourhoods of Sheffield, one of our key objectives is focused on helping bring our communities together. We operate a series of projects and initiatives aimed at reducing multi-cultural barriers that can impact community wellbeing:

• We facilitate many multicultural events aimed at bringing people together from multiple race and faith backgrounds.
• We work with employers across Sheffield to help look at diversity in the workplace, helping to create new jobs and apprenticeships ringfenced for the people within the communities we serve.
• We organise volunteering programmes aimed at supporting residents to volunteer in activities and events away from their race/faith background norms in an attempt to help synergise the cultural capital of our communities.
